Dustin was born, September 14, 1980 in
Champaign, IL. Before moving to Jacksonville, Dustin lived in Joplin,
MO., from January 1993 until January 1995.
He spent most of his childhood in Deltona, FL. from 1982 until he
moved to Joplin in 1993.
Dustin was a graduate of Mandarin High School,
Class of ‘99’, and worked as a Claims Representative with The State
Farm Insurance Group, and was a student at The Florida Community College
of Jacksonville.
Dustin’s mother is Rose Mary Kish, his father,
Richard J. Kish and his sister, Melissa L. Kish.
Dustin was very close to his family and enjoyed spending time
with them as he did his friends.
Dustin was a very warm and caring person who
enjoyed people. He was
always helping someone or trying to make someone smile.
He had a quick wit and a unique sense of humor.
His love in life was his family, friends, music,
dancing, sport trucks, cars and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
No one kept a cleaner car than Dustin.
He spent hours every week working on his 1999 Chevy Extreme, and
most of his money went into adding that special something to his truck.
Dustin and his dad enjoyed 5 years of Jaguar
games, including several road trips to watch them play. He loved going to the games.
Dustin enjoyed dancing. He
and his friends would get together and go to the club to dance.
One of his favorite things to do was to go clothes shopping with
his Mom. Dustin never had
enough clothes.
Dustin was a special person who loved life and
enjoyed every minute of it. He
had an infectious smile and rarely did you see him when he was not
smiling or cutting up. There
was also the serious side of Dustin who was always worried about doing
the right thing.
Dustin died Tuesday, March 21, 2000 as a result
of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
