The Dustin E. Kish
Memorial Foundation was formed for the purpose of granting college
scholarships to graduates of Jacksonville, FL and to provide Safety and Training presentation to the
families of Jacksonville.
The Dustin E. Kish
Memorial Foundation, Inc. offers financial assistance to graduating High
School seniors of Jacksonville Florida.
Five $1000.00 Grants will be awarded each
year to seniors graduating from any Jacksonville, Florida high
school. Grants will be awarded based on academic achievement, leadership,
contributions to school and community, character, and financial need.
The scholarships may only be used for full-time study at an accredited
2 year college or university.
The Grants are named in honor of Dustin
Eric Kish, a 1999 graduate of Mandarin High School. Dustin knew the
importance of continuing ones education to achieve life’s goal.
Dustin moved to the Jacksonville area in
January of 1995. He attended Mandarin High School until he graduated in
June of 1999. He continued his education at the Florida Community College
of Jacksonville. He also worked for State Farm Insurance Company as a
customer service representative.
The Dustin E. Kish Memorial Foundation was
started in April of 2000 in memory of our son who died from injuries of a
motor vehicle accident on March 21, 2000.
It is the mission of the Dustin E. Kish Memorial
Foundation to promote character development to the youth of
Jacksonville, FL by providing financial assistance for continuing
education and presenting health and safety programs to the
families of
Jacksonville, Fl .
